I am an urban Tūhoe artist inspired by Mātauranga Māori and empowering our kōrero through art. I am 21 years old and come from Rotorua. I have been drawing and painting ever since I can remember, creating contemporary Māori art is a way I can express my identity as a wahine Māori. Art for me is a powerful tool that allows us to share knowledge, to celebrate and empower.
